My Clueless Jacket

Jacket: ebay
Top: Primark
Trousers: Forever 21 sale
Bag: China town
Necklace: old
YES! I'm back, with proper content, and it's summer *throws confetti*. However, I'm starting off the summer with a blog post that looks like I fell in a lost and found box?
This jacket is my pride and joy at the moment, It only cost me a couple of ££ on ebay. Getting it to me was another story (not thanks to Royal Mail, biggest waste of my time ever). Anyway, it just reminds me of clueless and the 90's and I'm really liking that vibe at the moment (/ maybe forever?). I need to do some DIY and cut the buttons off and remove those shoulder pads!

Is anyone else embracing the 90's look or are you all over it already? I'm too far behind

DIY | Floral sunglasses

I'm sorry to have left my blog for TWO WEEKS (ouch!). It's that horrible time of year when the semester comes to an end and a ridiculous amount of uni work is scheduled to be in all at the same time, no thanks to whoever does the timetabling at my university! I've also been really enjoying making youtube videos recently, I feel like I've accomplished something a bit more productive (but not really) so check out his cool DIY that I posted recently

I wont put the step-by-step guide here, as it's pretty simple and the video is fairly short :)

I have an outfit post coming up next but for the next few weeks I might be a tad quiet on here with the epic workload so make sure to check out my youtube as I post 1-2 times a week :)

Not-So Sporty Spice

Top: Forever21
Necklace: H&M
Skirt: Topshop
Shoes: H&M

So, this is probably as close as I will veer towards the "sports luxe" trend that reappears every Summer. I'm probably the least sporty person in a 10 mile radius, at school, I hated P.E. so much that in protest I would sit on the floor during hockey in the middle of the pitch. In fairness, it was probably because my teacher was the nastiest person ever and I wanted to be a pain in the bum. I was successful.
Having said this, I am going to start up an exercise regime again as a short burst of cardio every day makes me feel super awake, I guess we will see how this goes. Maybe I should make a post about exercise for lazy people, because I am the queen of laziness, oops!

I don't have much to say about my outfit today, except that I'm sad that it was 100% high street and full priced, which is REALLY unusual for me. I'm sure my next post will be as thrifty as usual though!

Stacy's Mom

Top: Forever 21
Skirt: New Look (sale £6)
Socks: Forever 21
Shoes: Topshop

I've gotten so lazy with writing post names that I'm just going to start naming them after the songs I'm listening to, and if you haven't guessed, thats currently Fountains of Wayne.
I'm literally so angry at the weather, so I'm just in denial with this outfit. At least it's warm enough to wear it in my apartment right? Can someone pop me on a plane to LA with a one way ticket so I never have to see England again? Please? Oh this could quickly escalate into one of my very unpatriotic rants and end in me burning the Union Jack so I will finish now. I can't be the only one though?

5) Elf Contour and Blush Palette
6) Maybelline Great Lash Mascara

11) MUA Brow Pencil

13) Brushes - by Real Techniques, Topshop and Illamasqua
14) Stila "In the Light" Palette

As I'm on the go constantly, and not able to take outfit pictures at the moment, I thought I'd make a different post today. It's been a while since I've talked about my love for makeup, as this little space on t'internet has moulded itself into a personal style blog I've slowly neglected to post anything about Makeup. I love make-up, but I'm studying to become a makeup artist at the moment so this space tends to be makeup free as my little area of solace.

However, that's all changed today as here are the bits I've been carrying around in my travel makeup bag! I always whittle it down to the bare essentials when travelling as I like to keep my face very simple and minimal. There's an unusual amount of Elf going on in this post as I'm testing a few bits out that I bought a few weeks back, I'm unsure as to whether they'll become a permanent installment into my routine though.

My absolute favourite pieces travel everywhere with me, my sleek eyeliner is my holy grail product as it never irritates my sensitive eyes. The MUA brow pencil is only a mere £1 and I even use it in my professional makeup kit because I genuinely find that it's better than most on the market. And lastly, my trusty Bioderma - I wouldn't travel without it as makeup wipes wreak havoc on my skin and I don't like carrying wash cloths around for cleansers. I partially thank this wonder product for clearing up a large portion of my acne!

So there you have it, if you were interested. I wont be writing many makeup posts but I'll maybe write a few in the future, we'll see. Did you guys like it? I'm better at talking out loud about makeup, and I'll be doing more of that in the future on my Youtube channel.
While I'm on the subject, here's a roundup of my last few videos :)

Don't forget to subscribe if you liked them! :)

I've been super duper sick recently, which means no blog posts and a lot of sulking. The only people I've seen in the last few days was the Sainsbury's delivery man and the plumbers, it's been a boring few days. To get myself out of my slump, I've arranged a few outfits to wear when I can leave my house again and here they are, they're both very different but that's what I love about experimenting with my style. I'm sure

I'll be back to blogging any day now, I'm excited to get out and get some colourful hair dye for my extensions. I also had a really exciting few days in London the other day too, I got the chance to work backstage with Illamasqua at the Sorapol show, ALL MY DREAMS CAME TRUE. I cannot even describe how lucky I've been over the last few weeks with work experience!
